Our Commitment

MoneySaverCodes is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

What We Do

We have taken the following steps to ensure accessibility across the site:

• Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone. A skip-to-content link is provided at the top of every page.
• Colour contrast — Text colours meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds. We avoid low-contrast combinations in all UI components.
• Touch targets — All buttons and interactive elements have a minimum size of 44 by 44 pixels to support users with motor impairments.
• Semantic HTML — Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and ARIA labels to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
• Reduced motion — Animations are disabled automatically when a user has enabled the “prefers-reduced-motion” setting on their device.
• Responsive design — The site works on screens from 320px upwards, including mobile devices and tablets.
• Live regions — Dynamic content changes (such as filter results) are announced to screen readers via aria-live regions.
• Unique navigation labels — All navigation elements have unique aria-label attributes to help screen reader users distinguish between them.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:

• Third-party content — Some affiliate retailer websites that we link to may not meet the same accessibility standards. We have no control over the accessibility of external sites.
• Older articles — Some earlier content may not yet have been reviewed for full accessibility compliance. We are working through these progressively.

Technical Information

This site is built with Next.js and tested against WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. We use automated accessibility linting as part of our development workflow and conduct periodic manual testing with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers.
